LOVE IS .............LIVING LIFE FOR EACH OTHER!!

Here's a Poem which explains all that a boy and girl must live for and live up to, in a relationship. It is simply worded and comes from the heart. At the cusp of spending our Silver Jubilee of matrimonial harmony, I thought I should share some thoughts with the Cyber world through this poem. LOVE

I have so little to give my dear
So little of silver and gold
But I can give you a gift my dear
That can’t be bought or sold

My friendship, if you find it sweet
My smile of greeting when we meet
My tears to comfort you in pain
My smile to cheer you up again

My hand to hold you in joy and sorrow
My love today and my love tomorrow.

Gold and silver mean nothing to me
I am what you can feel and see
Your love is all that I do care
Your joys and sorrows I will share.

Your lovely smiles from miles I see
Your open arms now beckoning me
Your unseen blushing cannot conceal
Your warmth of breath that I can feel.

A candle of understanding lit up in this heart
Shall not be put out by the wildest storm.
I shall drink from those eyes if ever I do,
And smoke out this life to rekindle you.

I wrote these as a child of 12-13 yrs at school. Come to think of it, these words by a school boy are so relevant to my life and yours even today. Read on....

QUATRAINS

LIE ?

Do three things in life,
Drink, lie and steal
Drink from the Fountain of knowledge
Lie on the Bed of success
Steal away from bad company.

‘LIFE’

Fools are they who think this world,
To be their home perpetual ;
And know not that they’re guests for a day
For human life is ephemeral

‘POVERTY’

OH Poverty ! They hot breath,
Shalt once burn this earth:
Or they with brotherly affection
Shalt turn ravenous in dearth.



‘PAST’

The wilted flower of the past
Has lost its fragrance with her beauty lost;
Think not that once ‘it’ was pure
For you can’t make it bloom as before.

Tides swell up and tides ebb low,
But the seas bear water, still
For the tides that are, ought to flow;
Many a pearl to the shore may come and go.
